Education Centre

During excursions, students will use resources in the Ralph Honner Kokoda Education Centre where they will learn of the Pacific war leading up to the Kokoda campaign. Secondary students experience an immersive state-of-the-art virtual reality (VR) program about Kokoda. Students will attend a wreath laying service at the Memorial Centerpiece, and visit some of the Walkway’s 22 stations representing a major Kokoda battle or location. Lunch may also be available, depending on individual arrangements.

Undertake further reading and research, primarily on external websites, dedicated to Australia’s involvement in World War Two, Australian service records, the South West Pacific campaign, and the battles in Papua New Guinea.
