While general entry to the Walkway is free, a fee will apply to group tours and/or to use the covered function facilities.
The Walkway welcomes community groups for tours of the Walkway. Fees apply for group tours and for use of the covered function area (if applicable).
GROUP TOURS - ONLY WHEN OFFICE OPEN (WITH/WITHOUT COVERED FUNCTION AREA)
Bookings for groups (minimum of 8-10 people) includes two aspects:
a guided tour and/or
use of the covered function area, which comprises the BBQ and seating area (which will require a separate payment).
Guided tours are only available when the Walkway office is open (Monday to Friday 10.00am to 2.00pm, except public holidays). A group may also book the covered function area in their visit.
Groups must complete the Group Tour Booking Form below, or contact us.
A fee of $5.00 per person will be charged for group tours. If the covered function area is booked a $100.00 fee is also charged.
Payment for the group tour only will be due after the tour, to ensure the amount payable reflects only those who attended. Once confirmed with our office, you can use the Group Tour Payment Form below.
Group tours will not be accepted in the week leading up to our main commemorative events. We also need at least two business days’ notice of any bookings.
There are 22 Stations along the Walkway combining text and photographs to explain the military engagements during the campaign. Take a self-tour to familiarise yourself before your visit.
All funds raised by tours and using the covered function area are used to improved the facilities at the Walkway.
