Excursions with student groups are welcome.
A primary focus of the Walkway is educating students on the Southwest Pacific region in World War Two, particularly the Papua New Guinea/Kokoda campaigns.
Student groups in organised excursions are welcome. Further details can be viewed in our School Excursions Information Page.
Students are greeted at the Ralph Honner Kokoda Education Centre on arrival and have an opportunity to watch a video on the progression of World War Two. For secondary students, an immersive experience using virtual reality (VR) is available. Volunteer Guides will accompany the group and assist teachers to supervise students throughout their visit.
Schools may use the BBQ facilities. Please indicate this in the ‘Special request’ box in the form when booking.
Enjoy your visit and remember that the Walkway is a living memorial. Please clean up after your visit and remain respectful at all times while at the Walkway.
