Walkway Centrepiece reopened after maintenance/repairs

The Memorial Centrepiece has reopened following maintenance and repair work
12 March update: The temporary repair and maintenance work that was being conducted on our Memorial Centrepiece has now been finalised, and the Centrepiece is now open again.
The work involved replacing cracked paving tiles, as well as some tiles on the Centrepiece’s beautiful sandblasted wall images.
These repairs were necessary, since it is over 25 years since the Centrepiece was opened. These repairs will ensure the Memorial Centrepiece remains the spiritual heart of the Walkway.
The Centrepiece will again feature a wreath laying ceremony at our forthcoming Anzac Day service, which this year will be held on Saturday 20 April commencing at 10.30am. RSVPs for this event are due by Friday 12 April 2024.
