15 August marked the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Pacific (VP Day)

2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

On 15 August 1945, Australians together with others around the world celebrated the end of hostilities against the Japanese, with World War II officially ending.

To commemorate this special anniversary, the Board was pleased to honour our special guest Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC Governor of New South Wales to our VP Day service.
