How you can make a donation

The Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway - a not for profit organisation - have created a memorial to all veterans who served in the South West Pacific.
The activities we conduct include:

  • the continuing maintenance of the walkway structures and gardens to a standard befitting the contribution of our veterans
  • encouragement and sponsoring of visitation by school groups
  • Arrange and conduct commemorative activities
  • Sponsor this website

As the Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway is a non- government funded not for profit organisation it depends on corporate and individual donations to achieve these activities. To date the Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway has invested almost $5 Million in creating the memorial. In addition, our annual recurring operating costs are $55,000. Costs are kept to a minimum by much of the work being done by our volunteers - the Friends of Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway and by the kind support of the Corrective Services of NSW.

One pressing need is to improve the surveillance Camera coverage of the walkway to assist in deterring vandalism. You would be aware of recent damage reported in the press.
